A destination restaurant and all-day bar in Piraeus, designed as an immersive architectural experience overlooking the port and the sea.

For LA LUNA, the concept was inspired by the contrast between raw natural textures and refined atmospheric lighting. Sculptural arches, volcanic rock surfaces, warm concealed LEDs and earthy mineral tones create a cinematic environment that transforms from day to night.

A defining feature of the project is the composition of handcrafted artificial rock formations and the sculptural fountain installation at the entrance, designed to evoke the feeling of a hidden Mediterranean cave. These custom-made elements introduce a sense of drama and organic imperfection, becoming part of the identity and storytelling of the space.

The interior balances softness and intensity: tactile plaster finishes, dark bronze details, woven ceiling elements and curated planting compose a calm yet dramatic spatial identity. Large openings frame the panoramic view, allowing the sea and the changing light of Piraeus to become part of the experience itself. The bar was designed as the visual and social heart of the space, while layered lighting and organic forms create intimacy throughout the restaurant. A hospitality project focused on mood, materiality and sensory atmosphere.
